What began as a simple kitchen refresh quickly evolved into a complete kitchen renovation. Initially, our clients planned to replace only doors and drawer fronts, but after consulting with the Simply Bathroom Solutions design team, it became clear that a full kitchen redesign would deliver the best long-term result. Their wish list included clever storage solutions, a highly functional layout, dual ovens, and a large pantry with an integrated appliance cabinet.

Mirrored splashbacks were chosen to reflect natural light into a darker corner, while a new bi-fold servery window was designed to connect the kitchen seamlessly to the outdoor entertaining space.

The Simply Bathroom Solutions design and construction team reimagined the kitchen while maintaining the original footprint, optimising every detail for function and flow. Smart storage was introduced throughout — drawers replaced cupboards, pull-out rubbish bins were built in, and hidden kick drawers were designed for baking trays. A pop-up power tower concealed outlets, keeping benchtops clutter-free, while the tall pantry and appliance centre offered generous storage behind sleek cabinetry.

The cabinetry in Dulux Natural White was balanced by a deep blue-painted peninsula, linking the kitchen’s palette with the adjoining family room for a cohesive open-plan aesthetic. The addition of the bifold window and outdoor servery enhanced both usability and entertaining, creating a light-filled, practical, and stylish space. In the end, our clients were thrilled they chose to invest in a full kitchen renovation rather than a simple facelift — the transformation exceeded all expectations.
