Malvern Stanhope Laundry

As part of a wider home renovation, our clients sought to transform their large, underutilised downstairs bathroom and narrow, impractical laundry into functional, stylish spaces that better suited modern family living. Engaging Simply Bathroom Solutions, they wanted a clever redesign that maximised storage and flow, creating a new butler’s pantry, mudroom, laundry, and guest bathroom — all seamlessly connected and beautifully finished.

The Simply Bathroom Solutions design and construction team reimagined the existing layout, dividing the oversized bathroom and adjoining laundry into distinct, purpose-built zones. The new guest bathroom, accessed directly from the main hallway, now offers a welcoming retreat for visitors. Behind it, a well-planned laundry was created featuring abundant cabinetry, pull-out laundry baskets, a hanging rail for shirts, and side-by-side washer and dryer placement for maximum efficiency.

A newly built mudroom links the laundry to the rest of the home and includes a drying cupboard, linen storage, and a built-in bench seat for removing shoes — ideal for busy family life. On the other side, the butler’s pantry provides extensive storage and a practical connection through to the kitchen.
