A serene, day-spa inspired ensuite designed to complement a classic California Bungalow home.

Our clients’ California Bungalow–style home had been beautifully renovated throughout, with the exception of the ensuite bathroom. Simply Bathroom Solutions were engaged to transform the generously sized space into a luxurious retreat that would evoke a day spa atmosphere while remaining true to the home’s architectural style.

The redesign saw the existing windows replaced with two awning windows, perfectly framing the new back-to-wall freestanding bath and flooding the space with natural light. A custom double vanity paired with metallic-finished mirrored cabinets provided generous storage while adding a touch of understated sophistication.

The spacious level-entry shower enhances accessibility and comfort, complemented by a hydronic heated towel rail positioned within arm’s reach — offering the luxury of a warm towel after every shower.

Careful attention was given to material and colour selections, with Faucet Strommen tapware and a palette of earth-toned tiles creating a calm, restorative environment. The result is a timeless Melbourne ensuite renovation that seamlessly combines elegance, warmth, and modern functionality.
