Main Bathroom

In the leafy suburb of Eltham, our clients’ traditional-style home features an array of timeless design elements, where every material offers a sensory experience—both visual and tactile.

Originally designed as the children’s bathroom, the main bathroom design featured a compact shower recess that felt restrictive and underutilised. The new design introduces a generous walk-in shower with a sleek frameless screen, creating a sense of openness and luxury. The existing clawfoot bath was retained for its classic charm, refreshed with black feet and fittings to complement the new design palette.

This bathroom forms part of a broader renovation, where all three bathrooms are being reimagined with a cohesive cabinetry style to create visual harmony throughout the home.

Powder Room

The powder room is positioned opposite the main bathroom, whilst they must compliment each other the powder room was to provide a feeling of luxury and a little theatre. 

Main Bathroom

The main bathroom’s alcove offered the ideal opportunity to create a spacious walk-in shower. A custom Corian inset was crafted to form a long, elegant niche—providing ample storage and keeping the shower floor free from clutter.

With careful consideration of sight lines, designer Michelle specified a bespoke, black-framed sliding shower screen, aligned perfectly with the height of the bathroom window for a seamless visual connection.

Attention to the finer details was led by Troy, who collaborated closely with the tiler to achieve a precise tile layout. The existing clawfoot bath’s gold feet and fittings were sent away to be re-plated in black, ensuring every element aligned with the new design direction. Subtle LED lighting within the Corian niche was positioned to cast a soft glow—enhancing the atmosphere without glare when relaxing in the bath. Custom-designed cabinetry completes the space, providing generous storage while adding warmth and character to the room.

Powder Room

Beautifully textured Graham & Brown wallpaper dresses the powder room, adding a bevelled wall mirror and a pendant light has created a luxurious feel to the small powder room.

Colour Confidence principal designer Michelle collaborated with Simply Bathroom Solutions builder Troy Freeman to project manage our Eltham project.

Troy’s attention to detail met with the client’s high standard they wished to maintain throughout. All design requests and construction details were achieved bringing about three beautiful bathrooms that complimented the client’s home.
