Canterbury Mailiing Estate

Tucked just off Maling Road in Canterbury, this Victorian residence sits gracefully among the area’s heritage-listed homes. Simply Bathroom Solutions were engaged to redesign and renovated the main bathroom, creating a design that would both complement the home’s period character and deliver contemporary comfort.

The tired space was reimagined with a vision that embraced both classical elegance and timeless functionality. Designed to harmonise with the home’s Victorian details, the new bathroom showcases herringbone marble-look tiles, bringing texture and sophistication without overwhelming the room. 

Rather than echoing the aesthetic of a hotel bathroom, the brief called for understated luxury—realised through a seamless level-entry shower, an easy-access bath, and thoughtfully planned storage that ensures the space is as practical as it is refined.

Simply Bathrooms’ design team worked closely with the clients to select products and finishes, ensuring the result is both tasteful and timeless.
