Balwyn Laundry Renovation

This laundry renovation project was born out of pure frustration. Our client’s existing laundry was small, lacked storage, and was far from enjoyable to use. With the outdoor clothesline positioned in constant shade, washing was always dried indoors, leaving the space cluttered and impractical. It was clear the room needed a complete laundry redesign to improve functionality and make daily routines easier.

As part of a broader home renovation, Simply Bathroom Solutions reimagined the space to maximise efficiency and comfort. The adjacent toilet was removed, with half of that room incorporated into the new laundry layout—creating space for tall storage cupboards to house linen, a Dyson docking station, and cleaning essentials such as mops and buckets.

Opposite this, a long benchtop now provides generous workspace, with appliances positioned neatly beneath and overhead cabinetry for easy access to everyday items. To solve the drying dilemma, a ceiling-mounted Foxy dryer was installed, conveniently lowered and raised via remote control. The result is a clutter-free laundry with ample floor space and modern practicality.

The fresh white cabinetry and soft green subway tiles complete the laundry renovation, creating a cheerful, light-filled space that’s both stylish and highly functional—perfectly reflecting Simply Bathroom Solutions’ commitment to thoughtful design and everyday usability.
