kitchen Renovations in Balwyn
Main Bathroom

Deepdene

Nestled in a pocket of Deepdene our client’s contemporary home is beautifully appointed. Most of the home has been renovated except for the main bathroom that housed a very large built-in spa which filled the entire window area. The room had a very small window resulting in a dark south facing bathroom that was not inviting.

Brief
Our client’s brief was to create a bathroom that was both interesting, contemporary and a pleasure to be in, above all it had to compliment the rest of the home. Liz worked with our clients to create a bathroom that could both service their adult family, but they too could escape and enjoy a soak at the end of the day. Removing the large built-in spa and installing a large picture window enabled the light to flood into the room. The botanical matt wall tiles are complimented beautifully with the outside garden and the soft timber tones of the vanity bring warmth to the room. This bathroom has been transformed from an outdated dark bathroom to a restful retreat.
